It's already got a lot going for it and it'll be interesting to see how it evolves.Ä®xplanation: NEW SOFTWARE= New tool since your last visit NEW VERSION= New version since your last visit NEW REVIEW= New review since your last visit NEW VERSION= New version Latest version Maybe the ability to create custom capture profiles based on size/quality.Äespite these current lackings I must say this is one of the coolest capture programs I've seen in a while. *Additional XVID specific settings might be handy too. *More frame rate options for video (23.976 & 29.970 would be great). *More bitrate options for MP3 & AAC audio. *More audio sample rate options: 22050Hz, 48000Hz, etc. Maybe the ffdshow filters would then be unavailable, but the reduced drops would be worth it IMO. ![]() *No Preview mode option: to shut off the live preview during capture so more CPU time can be used for encoding. *A/V sync: Like the dynamic audio resampling that Virtualdub and Virtual VCR have, this would be a huge help especially since it's a software encoder. *Frame drop counter: to keep track of how many frames are being lost during capture. ![]() In order of importance, here is what I think would the best additions. ![]() That being said, I think there are a few things still missing that, if added, would really notch up the overall functionality of the program. Paired with ffdshow you can achieve real-time deinterlacing, noise filtering, etc as you capture. I like that it allows me to compress directly to XVID with my DC30+ card without having to try to build filter graphs (which I never had much luck with).
